TIFA Facade Improvement Program

The TIFA Façade Improvement Program makes funds available for the purpose of encouraging exterior building façade improvements within the TIFA district.

NEW enhancements to the Façade Improvement Program include a grant that allows applicants to be reimbursed for up to 75% of the costs associated with an exterior paint only project.  And to encourage the use of professional design assistance in the planning of façade repairs and improvements, architectural and design professional fees are now considered reimbursable project costs.

Interested applicants must submit their application and supporting documentation to the City of Hillsdale Economic Development office on or before May 20, 2010 for consideration of approval at the regularly scheduled June meeting of the TIFA Board. Applications submitted after May 20th will be considered on a case-by-case basis in accordance with the Facade Improvement Program Guidelines.
