The City of Hillsdale, Department of Public Services in conjunction with the Hillsdale County Road Commission has cancelled the Chip Seal and Fog Coat work scheduled to start on Wednesday, September 20, 2017.

The Parks at Baw Beese Lake will be closed to the public as well as the bike path on September 15th - 30th until 11:00 a.m. Parks and bike path will be open regular hours on the weekends.

The City of Hillsdale will receive sealed proposals at the Office of the City Clerk, Hillsdale City Hall, 97 N. Broad Street, Hillsdale, Michigan 49242 until 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 22, 2017 for the crushing and screening of concrete & asphalt rubble.

The Public Services Dept. will be providing curbside residential collection of Leaves beginning on Monday, October 23, 2017. Leaves, grass clippings and yard debris must be placed on the terrace by 7am on October 23rd to ensure it is collected. DPS will be collecting once in each ward in October & November only. This service is offered to City residents ONLY. For more information call 517-437-6490.

Brush must be placed on the terrace by 7am Monday, October 2nd to ensure it is collected. DPS will make one round of collection for October & November. This service is offered to city residents only. In an effort to enhance your recycling program we will be increasing your pick up schedule. Effective in April 2017 we will be increasing your service to Every Other Week pick up which means you will be getting 26 pick-ups per year instead of the current 24 pick-ups per year.
